Since 1974, the Slavic Invitational has stood as the defining amateur golf event in the South. What began as a gathering of passionate golfers has grown into a beloved institution — a three-day celebration of competition, camaraderie, and the traditions that make this game great.
Every year, competitors return not just for the golf, but for the experience. The friendships forged on these fairways, the stories told over dinner, and the pride of competing in one of the region’s most respected tournaments — this is what the Slavic Invitational is all about.
3 Days, 18 Holes, Two-Person Best Ball, Stroke Play by Flights. Shotgun start at 8AM & 1PM. Practice rounds on each course are available the week of the tournament – call the courses for prices and times.
All participants must be 21 years of age or older.
Entries must be received by September 17th, 2026. If you did not participate last year or have not yet received your invitation, you can register and pay by clicking the link below.
If you pay by PayPal, we will receive your payment immediately. If you pay by E-Check, it could take up to a few days to receive payment. To verify that we’ve received your payment, navigate to the Where Y’ At tab/section. Input the player’s initials in the first and last name, then press Enter. If you and your partner’s name display in the Search results, that is the verification that y’all are paid up.
If you are registered for the tournament, be sure to check here to see where you fall in the grand scheme of things. The course and tee time for each team will be listed here before the tournament kicks off. So, come back and see where you and your friends will be on the big weekend. Sunday’s flights are determined by the total of the teams scores from Friday and Saturday. Some teams may not play all three courses.
Sunday’s tee times and course assignments will be posted Saturday night in the lobby of the Civic Center, and a text message will be sent to you by the Slavic Committee.
